Trench coat sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

This soft and cuddly wool herringbone trench coat is the perfect companion for a stroll on the town. With horn buttons, raglan sleeves, loose yokes, and shoulder tabs, it has the typical features of a classic trench. The tie belt on this double-breasted coat is also a must!

These pattern instructions feature a step-by-step sewing guide with pictures.

Recommended Materials

Coat fabrics of wool or wool blends.

Amount of Fabrics

Wool herringbone,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: sizes 36, 38, 40: 3.40 m (3 3/4 yds);
sizes 42, 44: 3.45 m (3 7/8 yds).

Lining,
width: 140 m (55 ins)
length: size 36: 1.90 m (2 1/8 yds);
size 38: 1.95 m (2 1/4 yds);
sizes 40, 42: 2.15 m (2 1/2 yds);
size 44: 2.20 m (2 1/2 yds).

Interfacing, 90 cm (36 ins) wide: 1.50 m (1 3/4 yds).

Vilene Bias Tape/ stay tape.

7 buttons, 1 flat inside button. 1 sew-on hook and eye fastener.
