The Tonia shorts are a piece that fits any occasion. Wear it with a beautiful evening top, a blazer and boots. Wear it with a cardigan and some tennis shoes. The choice is yours.
Our sample is made of a woolen suiting material, though corduroy or plaids would make the whole look a bit sportier.
The pattern is easy to adjust in length, if needed. You can also play with the width of the hemband at the leg. More difficult pattern changes would be adding to or eliminating the gathering.

Love Burda. Love the styles. Love the image stylings. Love the people oriented website. Love the pretty, inspiringly slim models. All good.
What I DON"T love is models like this one (Tonia #7909). This model looks truly anorexic, like her next accessory is going to be an IV pole. It not only distracts (or at least detracts) from the clothes, it’s also downright disturbing.
Btw, I’m also not a believer in using heavy models (euphemistically called ‘curvy’), because they also validate an unhealthy physical state and detract from the shape of the designs. Lets keep our girls lean, strong and gorgeously healthy.
Cheers!
