Draft-it-yourself tipi sewing pattern.

Add a touch of fun and adventure to your backyard with this colorful tipi made for napping in. You could even bring it inside during winter, it is that awesome!

This pattern is from the Camping Chic collection.

Recommended Materials

Cotton fabrics

Amount of Fabrics

Cotton fabrics in 7 different prints, 110 cm (44”) wide
fabric print 1: 4.70 m (5 1/4 yds),
fabric print 2: 2.45 m (2 3/4 yds),
fabric print 3: 1.35 m (1 5/8 yds),
fabric print 4: 1.85 m (2 1/8 yds),
fabric print 5: 1.00 m (1 1/8 yds),
fabric print 6: 2.65 m (3 yds),
fabric print 7: 1.30 m (1 1/2 yds).

7 wooden poles, approx. 3 m (3 3/8 yds) long.

Twill tape, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide: 7.00 m (7 3/4 yds).

Hook-and-loop ­tape, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide: 0.50 m (20 ins). ­

    Love this Idea. I’ve really been wanting to make a tent or tipi.

    Apart from the tipi which has great whimsy factor, I’m really disappointed in this collection. I actually thought you meant chic garments suitable for CAMPING. This is not camping.
