Women’s plus size dress sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by burda style magazine.

A fit and flare dress with flattering style lines goes with anything! Make this dress mod with go go boots, or wear it with your favorite pumps for work. We like the hidden pockets and subtle split neckline.

This pattern is from the A Cut Above collection.

Recommended Materials

Dress fabrics made of wool or blends.

Amount of Fabrics

Wool crêpe,
width: 145 cm (57 ins)
length: 2.20 m (2 1/2 yds) for all sizes.

Lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.35 m (1/2 yd) or a remnant about 35 × 50 cm (14 × 20 ins).

Interfacing.

Vilene Bias Tape.

1 invisible zip, 60 cm (24 ins) long and a special presser foot.

Hook-and-eye.

Buttonhole thread for topstitching.

Seam Allowance

This pattern doesn't include seam allowance

    Can’t decide about this one. The line drawing looks nice, but it looks way too big on the model, so hard to tell how this would look on a plus size. The horizontal waist seams look like they’d be good for easy fit changes for those of us with sway back. Wonder how this would look if the stop stitching at center front and neck were done in a contrast thread.
