Women’s skirt and overskirt sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

What a vision of loveliness! Over the slightly flared duchess miniskirt, billows this unique overskirt. It’s open at the front and gathered at the waist.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the A-line Skirt

Recommended Materials

Skirt fabrics with some body. Sheer fabrics with some body for the overskirt.

Amount of Fabrics

Skirt: Duchesse,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 0.75 m (7/8 yd) for all sizes.

Lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.65 – 0.65 – 0.65 – 0.70 – 0.80 – 0.80 m
(3/4 – 3/4 – 3/4 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 yd).

Interfacing.

1 invisible zip, 22 cm (9 ins) long and 1 button.

Overskirt: Organza with ribbon embroidery,
width: 115 cm (45 ins) wide, (embroidered over a width of 106 cm)
length: 1.50 – 1.50 – 1.50 – 1.60 – 1.60 – 1.60 m.

Petersham ribbon, 3.5 cm (1 1/2 ins) wide, for ­waistband and 1.40 – 1.50 – 1.60 – 1.65 – 1.75 – 1.80 m (1 5/8 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 – 1 7/8 – 2 – 2 yds) long.

1 large sew-on snap.
