    Is there anyone who has tried out this pattern and knows how to finish the neckline? I just can’t figure it out…

      It looks to me like you just neaten the neckline with a zigzag or overlocking stitch, and sew the elastic where it should go with a triple zigzag stitch..

      Perhaps you also sewing a band of fabric over that, with the band’s raw edges folded in towards the elastic so that they don’t fray.
