Hello, I would love to download and sew this dress but need it in size 12. Is it possible to get that? Seems this version starts at size 17 and up. Appreciate help to get the correct version for me!

Hi! Burdastyle.com sizes are not what you think they are – a US 12 (say, in the Big 4 sewing pattern companies) is the equivalent of a Burdastyle.com size 40. The sizes here – for this particular pattern – are their Petite sizes, with a size 20 being a petite sized 40… Confused yet? Sorry no one has answered this earlier – petite sized patterns are very limited here. Scroll to the bottom of the page – any page on the website – and look under Website Help in the lower right, and the last item in that list is Size Charts. Click on that, and be sure you download the pdfs for all 3 size ranges (they have a Tall as well, starts at 72!) So that you can see what sizes correspond to others… I use the petite size chart to help me adapt regular burdastyle patterns, and I have heard many members say they’ve had few problems in adding length to petite size patterns here. Each pattern is available only in the sizes listed on its page. Hope that helps – good luck!
