I’m reminded of the Audrey Hepburn look, and was that one to kill for. Never knew this sort of dress could have bust darts at the side seams and shape up so well because of that. I’m going to buy one of these in a blue shade.

I’m new to sewing dresses (or sewing in general), so maybe this is a dumb question, but I found some fabric online and almost all the fabric has width ’44. Only this needs ’57. Is there any way I can work around this? Or is the only option to find other fabric that is wider?

Hypes you can make it work you just have to buy more fabric than what’s stated above sinc the width is shorter. If you are new to sewing I would suggest that you start out with regular patterns such as Simplicity, Mccalls, ect. They have much better instructions and pictures than the Burdastyle patterns. If you aren’t familiar with sewing techniques Burdastyle patterns are sometimes hard to understand in my opinion. Hope this helps.
