Description

This is a very simple and fast to sew pattern for a cape. Be creative in the choice of trim that is sewn to all the edges and sleeves of the cape.

Recommended Materials

Any sort of warmer woven material, like wool or wool blends.

Amount of Fabrics

1 3/4 yards (1m 60cm)

    Instructions are pretty much useless for this pattern as well. The pattern did not indicate front or back. It’s only one pattern piece (cut two pieces), but I think it’s sloppy to not at least include the center back seam, which would really help with understanding the placement. I have some instructions on my blog as to how I figured it all out, and will save anyone else attempting the shrug some grief. This was my second Burda pattern. Both patterns I used turned out fine, but it would be difficult for someone who did not know how to sew with patterns to figure out.
