Men’s costume sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by burda style magazine.

Ahoy, matey! Do some swashbuckling in this pirate jacket, complete with gold trim. Parrot and first mate not included.

This pattern is from the Halloween Party 2013 collection.

Amount of Fabrics

Jacket: Canvas, 150 cm (59 ins) wide: 1.90 – 1.90 – 1.90 – 2.00 – 2.00 m (2 1/8 – 2 1/8 – 2 1/8 – 2 1/4 – 2 1/4 yds).

Lining, 140 cm (55 ins) wide: 1.40 m (15/8 yds) for all sizes.

Gold trim with one pointed edge, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide: 3.00 – 3.10 – 3.20 – 3.30 – 3.40 m (3 3/8 – 3 1/2 – 3 1/2 – 3 5/8 – 3 3/4 yds).

7 hooks and eyes. 8 buttons.

Textile glue, Gold glitter powder.

Head scarf and sash: Pieces of linen with torn edges: for the head scarf 110 × 35 cm (44 × 14 ins), for the sash, 180 × 10 cm (71 × 4 ins).

1 package of Simplicol red textile dye and 1 ­package of kitchen salt or dying salt.

Approx. 20 beads in ­various sizes.

Yarn.

Feather band, approx. 60 cm (24 ins) long (head circumference).

1 large feather.

Narrow leather band, 0.50 m (5/8 yd) long. Narrow cotton band, 5 mm (3/16 in) wide: 2.00 m (2 1/4 yds).

Hair pins.
