Description

Women’s trench coat sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

This elegant trench coat is piped with leather trim that makes a beautiful finish. Shoulder tabs along the sleeves and shoulder frame the structured silhouette.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Mini Trench

Recommended Materials

Coat fabrics of wool or blends.

Amount of Fabrics

Note: The piping for this style is ­made of nappa leather. We used a leather skin, approx. 125 cm (50 ins) long, so that the long piping strips for the front edges and section seams can each be cut in one piece. If your ­leather is shorter, cut the piping strips in sections and join them to the required length. You may also use purchased piping. In this case you will need 12.40 – 12.50 – 12.60 – 12.80 – 12.90 m (13 5/8 – 13 3/4 – 13 7/8 – 14 – 14 1/8 yds).

Wool worsted,
width: 155 cm (61 ins)
length: 3.40 – 3.40 – 3.45 – 3.45 – 3.45 m
(3 3/4 – 3 3/4 – 3 7/8 – 3 7/8 – 3 7/8 yds).

Nappa ­leather for the piping. For this style, you will need one leather skin with approx. 10 sq. ft. Thin cord for the piping.

Lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 2.00 – 2.00 – 2.40 – 2.40 – 2.40 m
(2 1/4 – 2 1/4 – 2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 5/8 yds).

Interfacing.

Vilene Bias Tape/stay tape.

6 ­large buttons, 6 smaller buttons, 1 flat inside button, and thin shoulder pads.
