I’m still a bit confused about Burda sizing. I normally wear a 12-14, but suddenly here it seems I’m a size 48(22)…maybe even a 50(24). I’m a bit between sizes, so I’m a bit confused but I do love the shirt…just hesitant to buy the pattern cause I could be wrong…if anyone knows about how these patterns work sizing wise, please let me know :)

Oh! And also if anyone knows a good tutorial on sizing up patterns, b/c if I am a size 48-50 on here, I would still like to try out other patterns that stop at 44…

i am a size 12 and i made this pattern in a 44. Any larger and the shoulders and neck is too large. I did make some minor alteration by putting elastic in the neck to keep my assets cover and may add neckline darts next time. I also have full hips even when i was a size need to add more to fit my curves as patterns never accommodate hips correctly. It is also very important to fit as you go particularly if you make adjustments.

Is there a way to size this down to a 38D (US size)?
