Women’s dress sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by burda style magazine

So sweet and light – and ravishingly gorgeous. For your big day, you’ll lift off in a pastel A-line dress, of lace fabric and two scalloped edges, worn over a satin under-dress. Fine details include mini-sleeves and the lace sash over the bust.

Recommended Materials

Tulle lace with a scalloped edge and stretch ­satin for lining.

Amount of Fabrics

Note: This style is made from 150 cm (59 in) wide lace fabric with two different scalloped edges. The scallop­ed edges of the fabric are used for the lower edges of the dress (large ­scallops for the front and back and small scallops for the sleeves). Tip: If your fabric is not as wide, you can cut the dress lengthwise and sew the scalloped edges to the hem edge (appliqué).

Tulle lace with two scalloped edges (original fabric has two different scalloped edges – large and small scallops),
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 2.15 – 2.15 – 2.25 – 2.25 – 2.25 m
(2 1/2 – 2 1/2 – 2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 5/8 yds).

Stretch satin, with widthwise stretch, for lining, width: 135 cm (53 ins)
length: 3.35 – 3.35 – 3.40 – 3.45 – 3.45 m
(3 3/4 – 3 3/4 – 3 3/4 – 3 7/8 – 3 7/8 yds).

Hook-and-loop tape, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide and 0.15 m (1/4 yd) long.
