Description

Women’s novelty skirt sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

The flared skirt of woven novelty fabric is embellished with cross stitches in different colored threads and with a fringed trim added for the perfect folklore feeling.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Drawstring Maxi-Skirt

Recommended Materials

Skirt fabrics of wools or blends, combined with fine corduroy.

Amount of Fabrics

Novelty fabric, with horizontal print and a pattern repeat of 35 cm (approx. 14 ins)
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.10 m (1 1/4 yds) for all sizes.

Fine corduroy,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 0.35 m (1/2 yd).

Elastic, 2.5 cm (1 in) wide and 0.70 – 0.75 – 0.80 – 0.85 – 0.85 m (7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 1 – 1 yd) long.

Fringe trim, with 3 cm (1 1/4 in) long fringe
length: 1.20 – 1.25 – 1.30 – 1.35 – 1.35 m (1 3/8 – 1 1/2 – 1 1/2 – 1 5/8 – 1 5/8 yds) of each of 2 different colours.

Embroi­dery thread in 2 different colours.

Embroidery needle with a sharp point.
