i am sewing this dress for my daughter’s first communion, and I can’t for the life of me figure out how and when in the instructions to sew the side seams of the bodice and bodice lining. I would assume that I should sew the bodice together at the side seams, and then sew the bodice lining together at the side seams, and then slip one inside the other (at which point i would follow one of my sewing reference books so I don’t screw that up), but the pattern instructions tell me to pin the bodice front to the lining front, then sew the back facing to the back lining…and then the instructions never mention the bodice front again. What do I do? THANKS—
