Description

Women’s cape sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

Whether striding across the festival site or pottering about town, this cape is ideal for both. Hook-and-loop fastenings and visored hood keep you well wrapped up, no matter what the weather. A drawstring allows you to cinch the loose style with its casing over the sleeves and waist.

Jacket fabrics with some body.

Amount of Fabrics

Cape: canvas,
width: 150 cm (59 ins) ­
length: size 34/36: 3.20 m (3 1/2 yds);
size 38/40: 3.25 m (3 5/8 yds);
size 42/44: 3.30 m (3 5/8 yds).

Interfacing 0.20 m (1/4 yd) of fusible interfacing, 90 cm (36 ins) wide.

1 separat­ing metal zip, 65 cm (26 ins) long (to be shortened for sizes 34/36 and 38/40).

Cord,
size 34/36: 4.80 m (5 1/4 yds);
size 38/40: 5.00 m (5 1/2 yds);
size 42/44: 5.20 m (5 3/4 yds).

Hook-and-loop tape, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide and 0.25 m (3/8 yd) long.

Twill tape, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide, 0.10 m (1/8yd) long.

2 hammer-on eyelets, Ø inside 8 mm (a generous 1/4 in).

4 D-rings, 1.5 cm (5/8 in) wide.

2 rivets.

Glue stick and magic chalk.

Buttonhole thread for topstitching.
