Description

Draft-it-yourself girl’s circle skirt sewing pattern.

This skirt is delicate, light, and pleated. It is straight-forward and comfortable with its waistband made of elastic rib-knit fabric.

Recommended Materials

Lightweight fabrics with some body. For long-­lasting pleats, use fabrics with a high synthetic content for the pleated skirt piece.

Amount of Fabrics

Georgette,
width: 145 cm (57 ins)
length: 1.00 – 1.05 – 1.10 – 1.15 – 1.20 m
(1 1/8 – 1 1/4 – 1 1/4 – 1 3/8 – 1 3/8 yds).

Batiste for lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.85 – 0.90 – 0.95 – 1.00 – 1.05 m
(1 – 1 – 1 1/8 – 1 1/8 – 1 1/4 yds).

Tubular rib knit ­fabric, lying double, 35 cm (13 3/4 ins) wide: 0.15 m (1/4 yd) for all sizes.

Elas­tic, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide and 0.65 – 0.65 – 0.65 – 0.70 – 0.70 m (7/8 yd) long.
