This little girl’s dress is stunning and easy to make! This shift dress is topped off with a Peter Pan collar form the flea market and a band made from lace remnants.

Recommended Materials

Dress fabrics.

Amount of Fabrics

Georgette with widthwise tucks,
width: 110 cm (44 ins)
length: 0.70 – 1.45 – 1.50 – 1.60 – 1.65 m
(7/8 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 – 1 7/8 yds).

A piece of smooth fabric, approx. 55 × 35 cm (22 × 14 ins), for bias strips.

Fabric in a contrasting colour for the band, approx. 20 × 10 cm (8 × 10 ins).

Tulle lace trim with a scalloped edge,
width: 10 cm (4 ins)
length: 0.60 – 0.60 – 0.70 – 0.70 – 0.70 m
(3/4 – 3/4 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 yd).

Lace trim with one scalloped edge,
width: 1 cm (3/8 in), length: 0.40 m (1/2 yd).

4 spherical buttons and 1 small flat button.

Purchased lace collar, approx. 35 cm wide.
