Recommended Materials

Knit fabrics. The stitches of the fabric should be easy to unravel.

Amount of Fabrics

Note: On lower edges of front, back, and sleeve pieces, the stitches of the knit fabric are picked up with a ­knitting needle, then cast off. To do this, you will need the yarn of the left­over fabric. Unravel the leftover fab­ric and wrap the yarn in a ball. ­Gear the size of the knitting needles to the weight of the yarn.

Knit fabric,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 1.10 – 1.20 – 1.20 – 1.25 – 1.25 m
(11/4 – 1 3/8 – 1 3/8 – 1 1/2 – 1 1/2 yds).

Stretch bind­ing tape 1.5 cm (5/8 in) wide and 0.50 – 0.50 – 0.50 – 0.55 – 0.55 m (5/8 – 5/8 – 5/8 – 3/4 – 3/4 yd) long.

2 beaded epaulettes.

Knitting needles in a size to match the yarn.
