This airy dress with embroidered border is simply enchanting. It is lined with batiste and has a loop fastener at the back – as uncomplicated as it is pretty.

Broderie ­anglaise with one scalloped edge.

Amount of Fabrics

Broderie anglaise with border and scalloped edge along one side,
width: 135 cm (53 ins)
length: 2.25 – 2.25 – 2.25 – 2.55 – 2.55 m
(2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 7/8 – 2 7/8 yds)
with a 14 cm (5 1/2 in) pattern repeat.

Batiste for lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.25 – 1.25 – 1.25 – 1.55 – 1.55 m
(1 1/2 – 1 1/2 – 1 1/2 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 ins).

Trim with one scalloped edge,
width: 1 cm (3/8 in)
length: 0.50 m (5/8 yd).

1 in­visible zip, 22 cm (9 ins) long.

9 – 9 – 9 – 10 – 11 small fabric-covered buttons.
