Description

Draft-it-yourself women’s skirt sewing pattern.

Knee-length flared skirt made of lightweight batiste.

Recommended Materials

Light, softly draping skirt fabrics.

Amount of Fabrics

Batiste plaid,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.80 – 1.80 – 1.80 – 1.85 – 1.85 – 1.85 m
(2 – 2 – 2 – 2 1/8 – 2 1/8 – 2 1/8 yds).

Knit tulle, for lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.00 – 1.05 – 1.05 – 1.10 – 1.10 – 1.15 m (1 1/8 – 1 1/4 – 1 1/4 – 1 1/4 – 1 1/4 – 1 3/8 yds).

Waistband interfacing.

1 in­visible zip, 22 cm (9 ins) long.

1 button.

    just a quick question…is there a difference between knit tulle and the normal tulle people use on ballerina skirts for children?

      Yes—knit tulle is the stretchy stuff you sometimes find in as the lining in shirts (and sometimes the shirts themselves!)
