Women’s dress sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

A simple dress with a big impact! A low waist and loose drape produce that typical androgynous look, which created a whole new female image in the 1920’s. Ribbons accentuate the silhouette, while the wide neckline lets you just slip the dress on easy.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Bow Shirt and the Pleated Top

Recommended Materials

Lightweight, softly draping dress fabrics.

Amount of Fabrics

Georgette, for dress bodice and ­sleeves
width: 135 cm (53 ins)
length: 1.25 – 1.25 – 1.30–1.30–1.30m (1 1/2 yds).

Georgette with lengthwise tucks, for skirt
width: 95 cm (38 ins)
length: 1.40 m (1 5/8 yds) for all sizes.

Soft petersham ribbon, 1 cm (3/8 in) wide and 2.25 – 2.30 – 2.40 – 2.45 – 2.50 m (2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 5/8 – 2 3/4 – 2 3/4 yds) long.

Soft petersham ribbon, 2.5 cm (1 in) wide and 3.20 – 3.30 – 3.40 – 3.50 – 3.70 m (3 1/2 – 3 5/8 – 3 3/4 – 3 7/8 – 4 1/8 yds).
