I made this pattern with black rabbit faux fur and a gold polyester lining. I was aware the instructions are for a reversible jacket with similar fabric weights. But I was not happy with my first pass at the pattern as it had some strange pulling and wrinkling around the front and neck. I decided my non-reversible version needed separate facings (with interfacing) at the front edges and neck, which I drafted, some edge-stitching, and top-stitching of the front facings to the front. The edge- and top-stitching disappear into the fabric when the fur fibers are brushed out. I also added 3/8" shoulder pads, which I think give the jacket a sort of couture appearance. Much happier with the result :) I will post a pic later.
