Jacket sewing pattern available for download, available in various sizes.

This jacket is a true piece of art. It has limited style lines and a lot of structure. This jacket features beautifully embellished sleeves and a clean center front opening. This jacket will sure jazz up any outfit. This pattern also includes step-by-step sewing instructions with diagrams!

Recommended Materials

Jacket fabrics of wool or blends.

Amount of Fabrics

Brushed wool, 150 cm (59 ins) wide:
sizes 36, 38, 40: 1.30 m (1 1/2 yds);
size 42: 1.45 m (1 3/4 yds);
size 44: 1.50 m (1 3/4 yds). 
Lining, 140 m (55 ins) wide:
sizes 36, 38: 1.20 m (1 3/8 yds),
sizes 40, 42, 44: 1.25 m (1 1/2 yds).

Vilene/Pellon G 785, width: 90 cm (36 ins)
length: 0.75 m (7/8 yd).

For the sleeve embellishment:
Black petersham ribbons, 4 cm (1 5/8 ins), 2 cm (3/4 in), and 1.5 cm (5/8 in) wide, and each approx. 1.00 m (1 1/8 yds) long.

Brown petersham ribbon, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide and approx. 2.00 m (21/4 yds) long.

Imitation leather band with rivets, 3 cm (1 1/4 in) wide and approx. 1.00 m (1 1/8 yds) long.

Band with metal rivets, 1.5 cm (5/8 in) wide and approx. 2.00 m (2 1/4 yds) long.

Plastic sew-on “gems“:
approx. 22 gems 2 × 2 cm (3/4 × 3/4 in),
approx. 20 gems 1.5 cm x 0.7 cm (5/8 × 1/4 in), approx. 26 gems 1.8 cm x 1.2 cm (3/4 × 1/2 in),
approx. 22 gems 2.5 cm x 1.8 cm (1 × 3/4 in).

Silver beads, approx. 24 round and 24 oval.
Gold beads, approx. 44.

2 metal zips, 50 cm (20 ins) long.
