Description

Plus size coat sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

As sophisticated as you can get. This knee-length, slightly flared coat features a magnificent buttoned in waistcoat, with front bands and Peter Pan collar of fake fur. The outer cotton coat has the same collar shape and is closed, edge to edge, with hook and eye fastenings – trés chic!

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Quilted Coat

Recommended Materials

Coat fabrics with some body. Use only those double­-faced fabrics on which the two l­ayers can be separated. Lightweight quilted fabrics for the waistcoat.

Amount of Fabrics

Cotton twill with wool backing (double-­faced fabric), width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 2.60 – 2.65 – 2.65 – 2.70 – 2.70 m
(2 7/8 – 3 – 3 – 3 – 3 yds).

Fake fur,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.70 m (7/8 yd) for all sizes.

Quilted lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.70 – 0.70 – 0.70 – 0.70 – 0.80 m (7/8 yd).

Lining taffeta,
width: 140 cm (55 ins) ­
length: 1.05 – 1.10 – 1.15 – 1.20 – 1.20 m
(1 1/4 – 1 1/4 – 1 3/8 – 1 3/8 – 1 3/8 yds).

Interfacing.

3 hooks and eyes and 7 flat buttons.
