Description

Plus size dress sewing pattern available for download, available in various sizes.

This is a flattering 1950s style dress. It features many exposed darts which add structure to the dress. You can omit the sleeves, or sew the dart on the inside for a different look.

Recommended Materials

Dress fabrics with some body.

Amount of Fabrics

Dotted jacquard,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.55 – 1.55 – 1.60 – 2.00 – 2.00 m
(1 3/4 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 – 2 1/4 – 2 1/4 yds).

A piece of lining fabric, approx. 50 × 25 cm (20 × 10 ins), for the sleeve facings.

Vilene/Pellon G 785.

1 invisible zip, 60 cm (24 ins) long, and a special presser foot.
