Description

Women’s dress sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by burda style magazine.

Trendy without being over the top, this lovely dress has a “mullet” hemline that’s longer at the back than the front and a cut out in the back. The cut out is adjustable with a drawstring so you can customize your coverage.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Back Cut Out Dress.

This pattern is from Ticket to Athens collection.

Recommended Materials

Lightweight, softly draping dress fabrics, with or without elastane.

Amount of Fabrics

Crêpe,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 2.00 – 2.05 – 2.05 – 2.10 – 2.10 m (2 1/4 – 2 1/4 – 2 1/4 – 2 1/2 – 2 1/2 yds).

Lining ­(bodice),
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.50 m (5/8 yd) for all sizes.

Vilene Bias Tape/stay tape.

Piece of interfacing.

Elastic,
width: 1 cm (3/8 in)
length: 0.45 – 0.45 – 0.50 – 0.50 – 0.55 m (5/8 – 5/8 – 5/8 – 5/8 – 3/4 yd).

Elastic,
width: 7 mm (1/4 in)
length: 0.40 – 0.40 – 0.45 – 0.45 – 0.45 m (1/2 – 1/2 – 5/8 – 5/8 – 5/8 yd).

    Just made this dress and it turned out pretty well. Some of the instructions were confusing so I just made some modifications myself— had to split the bodice back to flip the lining and also was confused which widths of elastic went where b/c I couldn’t tell from the instructions so I just kind of fudged it. Still looks great! Any visuals out there?
