Plus size corset sewing pattern available for download, available in various sizes.

This corset cinches in the waist and is quite flattering. It makes a great layering piece, worn over a shirt or under a jacket. This corset features many different panels so you can incorporate various fabrics and textures to create a truly wonderful piece of wearable art!

Recommended Materials

Duvetyn, ­cotton velvet, combined with sequin fabric.

Amount of Fabrics

Duvetyn,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 0.65 m (7/8 yd) for all sizes.

Sequin fabric,
width: 110 cm (44 ins)
length: 0.50 m (5/8 yd).

Soft knit tulle, approx. 20 × 110 cm (8 × 44 ins), as contrasting fabric.

Lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 0.70 m (7/8 yd).

Vilene Bias Tape/ stay tape.

1 separat­ing plastic zip, 30 cm (12 ins) long.
