This jacket is already the latest thing for school girls, in blouson style with its typical striped, knitted waistband.

Recommended Materials

Sweatshirt­ing or jersey fabrics, combined with rib knit band.

Amount of Fabrics

Sweatshirting,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: dark blue, 0.60 – 0.60 – 0.65–0.70–0.70 m
(3/4 – 3/4 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 yd)
white, 0.50 – 0.55 – 0.55 – 0.60 – 0.60 m
(5/8 – 3/4 – 3/4 – 3/4 – 3/4 yd).

A piece of lining for the pocket pieces, approx. 35 × 25 cm (14 × 10 ins). ­

Tubular rib knit: 3 striped pieces for ­hem band and sleeve bands and 1 plain piece for collar, each 53 cm (21 ins) long, 16 cm (6 3/8 ins) wide.

Interfacing.

8 hammer-on snap fas­teners.

1 ready-made iron-on motif.
