Description

Women’s dress sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by burda style magazine.

Keep things stylishly simple in this casual loose-fitting shirt dress. A traditional collar and button up placket make this a great choice for office attire as well as everyday wear. Pleats at the waistline add extra room to move freely and comfortably.

I accidently gave this pattern five stars, but in fact it has many faults. First of all, it is way too big, even when you might be pregnant. ‘Loose-fitting’ is an underestimation! I made a size 44, but I doubt wether a size 36 would have fitted properly. The cuffs do not fit on the arms, the arms are extremely long, and the pockets are too low (because of the maternity belly, I guess). So warning: I made it not as a maternity dress, but because I liked the A model, but I recommend this pattern only if you are an octopus that is expecting twin babies within a month.

It’s really not clear how the placket is sewn. Drawings to accompany sewing instructions would be useful.
