Hi there…I am about halfway through sewing this pattern and the PDF directions are SO CONFUSING. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to sew the front bodice to the back with the lining and the facing… It says something about “sliding the front bodice strap edges into the back bodice strap edges and stitch” I am not sure if the bodice is turned right side out for that or not. I hate that there are ZERO images in the instructions and they’re written so poorly, very hard to understand. I’ve made so many mistakes because of it… fingers crossed I can figure it out!

This pattern has serious fitting problems and is visible in the 3 pieces made by customers I really like the style so I guess I will have to work the torso pattern entirely to make it fit right. I will also recommend that the back skirt does not need to be cut in 2 But cut 1 piece with fabric fold and same thing with the back torso center piece.

It’s not just me then! I’ve made the top twice now and just cannot get it to fit. Think I will cut it off and make a skirt.

I just cut the fabric for this dress and some of the directions are confusing. Has anyone seen a tutorial, sew along or blog post about this pattern?
