Description

Women’s Jacket sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

Brocade, the fabric that fashion dreams are not made of. Why? It shines magically and makes an elegant statement, particularly when cut so exquisitely. Here it is used for a hip-length jacket, its edges bordered with petersham ribbon. It is brought in around the waist with a lovely tie belt.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Velour Jacket and the Belted Coat

Recommended Materials

Jacket fabrics with some body. Petersham ribbon or pre-folded bias tape to bind the ­jacket edges.

Amount of Fabrics

Brocade,
width: 150 cm (59 ins)
length: 2.00 m (2 1/4 yds) for all sizes.

Lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.35 – 1.40 – 1.40 – 1.45 – 1.45 m
(1 5/8 – 1 5/8 – 1 5/8 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 yds).

Petersham ribbon, 2 cm (3/4 in) wide and 3.30 – 3.35 – 3.40 – 3.45 – 3.50 m (3 5/8 – 3 3/4 – 3 3/4 – 3 7/8 – 3 7/8 yds) long.

Shoulder pads.
