Women’s jacket sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes.

You’ll make a great impression in this Chanel-style jacket make in a cheerful bright bouclé. This jacket takes a while to make, with the fringed edges and covered snap fasteners.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Short Jacket and the Short Sleeve Jacket

Recommended Materials

Jacket fab­rics. Use only fabrics which can be easily frayed (fringe).

Amount of Fabrics

Note: You can make the fringe yourself from strips of fabric and yarn. ­Alternatively, you may choose to use a ready-made fringe trim. You will need 3.50 – 3.60 – 3.70 – 3.80 – 3.90 m (3 7/8 – 4 – 4 1/8 – 4 1/4 – 41/4 yds) of ­ready-made trim, 2 cm (3/4 in) ­wide.

Bouclé,
width: 130 cm (51 ins)
length: 1.90 m (2 1/8 yds) for all sizes.

Lining,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.10 m (1 1/4 yds). ­

Interfacing.

3 large sew-on snap fas­teners.

Lightweight shoulder pads.

A small piece of batting and yarn for the fringe.

Rotary cutter, ruler, and cutting mat.

Seam Allowance

This pattern doesn't include seam allowance
