What is more fun than creating your own tie-dye fabric? These high waisted trousers are loose-fitting and perfect for everyday wear. Rolling up the hem gives these trousers some edge!

Recommended Materials

Trouser fab­rics of cotton, with or without elastane.

Amount of Fabrics

Note: These trousers are sewn from white cotton gabardine and then ­dyed with textile dye. Wash the ­fabric before cutting the fabric pieces, to remove the finish­ing. Tie-dye the ­finished gar­ment, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Stretch cotton gabardine,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 1.40 – 1.50 – 1.50 – 2.10 – 2.10 m
(1 5/8 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 – 2 3/8 – 2 3/8 yds).

1 invisible zip, 22 cm (9 ins) long.

To dye: Marabu EasyColor batik and textile dye, bordeaux red 034. Salt, string, plastic pail, plastic gloves.
