    Tonia is a great pattern for the beginner to intermediate. It is easy adjustable later in its side seams, be careful however in choosing your size. Make sure to measure yourself on the widest part of the hips

    It seems to fit rather large, I chose the right size according to the chart but it was still too big, I will try one size down and see how that turns out.....

    I also found the pattern a little looser at the waist/hip than I would have preferred. I would recommend making a size down.

    And the fly cutlines and sewlines were super confusing to me.

    These turned out sooo cute in black wool recycled from some old pleated skirts. I definitely should have lengthened them along the lengthen / shorten line because I am evidently 1 inch longer between hip and waist than the pattern allows for. I love them still!

    I enjoyed making these and have adapted the pattern into a pair of "peg" style trousers. They do come up large though so lots of amending on the hips! However, I'm a beginner and I find you can always take fabric in, but you cant add it, so I was glad for the leeway!
