hi m! thanks for the nice comment on my wall. I haven't really tried to alter patterns with vector software, the first reason is that I've just started working with patterns, and the second is that you can measure straight lines but I'm not quite sure about curved lines, for example when you need to match the length of lines that have different curves (so that you can't just put one on top of the other to check if they match), you can do it on paper with a measuring tape, but how do you measure it on illustrator, or any other vector drawing software? but I might be wrong. please let me know if you find a way
