For me, sewing is a perfect creative outlet--I've always loved clothes but am rarely satisfied with what I find in stores, and I love the process of seeing something take shape from an idea to a finished garment! I also like the challenge of taking older clothes or failed projects and turning them into something new!

Hey Sunnyb, I was looking around in the forum and noticed your thread about sergers from a while ago. I saw you eventually got a Baby Lock 450 and was looking at getting that same machine and wondered (now you've probably used it a lot) what you think of it? Do you love it and if you don’t mind me asking…how much did you pay? Thanks.

    making her own Kasia

Hi Sunnyb64. I finally found a time to thank you for nice comments concerning my wedding dress. I like that we used the same pattern, it means that you liked it too. This dress was very important for me, especially because the fabric was very expensive. I was afraid that I would make a mistake and I had to buy more fabric for it. I was very happy about the results and about adding of the jacket, because it was cold that day.

    Sewing jacket lining

I posted it on my wall, but m posting here, too, to make sure you notice. :–) Pity, I have no idea what could be the problem with the blog… I never had such problem on that site. Maybe you'd better ask oonaballona, who managed to comment, about how she did it. Or simply leave out the site and e-mail (you don’t have to fill those in), I know who you are anyway. :–) “Poslat” means “Send”, i.e. “post”, I guess you got that right… Don’t hit the link next to the screenname, that is something like forgetting the screenname again or what (I never tried it.)

Thank you for your nice comment conc. my velvet jacket. I am very happy that other people like it. I did not have any possibility yet to where this jacket, but I will try it soon and I hope that it will not feel strange to where that kind of prints,
