Thank you for your comments. That elephant is lovely. I've got a cute 60's pattern book of animals, it has a really great lion that has a similar style to it. You have inspired me to do it.

Usually I don't use patterns so I just take a basic T-shirt, mark the outlines of it and cut. Then I cut the hem, make the ruffle and pin it on to the upper part. C:
