Thanks for the kind comment about my skirt, I actually wore it quite a few times away on holiday, as it went with a lot of tops I had taken - I can be fast when I make my mind up - but that also leads to silly mistakes I love your crazy quilt, I would like to try but fear it would look totally wrong!

Thanks for your comment. I've not done a whole lot of sewing since my baby was born 3 months ago but i'm starting to get back into it. I've been knitting heaps more since i spend more time sitting feeding and it's winter here too. My plan for the knitting machine is to knit lengths and use them in bag making etc. I have knit and felted before like you suggested. It's a great way to get the colour you want and so much easier to felt that way.
