OONABALLOONA's WALL (10)
Ohhh, I'm so excited that we almost went fabric shopping! I haven't been able to incorporate BurdaStyle back into my work life, but I'm starting to use sewing as a bartering tool. For example...I'm trying to get the 4th of July off, and have promised a dress for my manager if she can make it happen. Her urgency has intensified. I also got a pair of scissors out of the deal that I kidnapped from the office. I seem to have los..misplaced my ginghers.
I'm glad you had time for some auditioning anywhoo... I booked a very small (but very funny) U5 in a comedy central pilot. 4 words of comedy gold. I will keep you updated!
And why have there been no creation additions to your site!!!?

Thanks for your comment on my dino, my nephew's birthday was this past Saturday and the dino pillow was a big hit. I think he'll get alot of use out of it. My daughter liked it so much I think there will be a girly dinosaur in my future :). Your comments are always so fun by the way. You always sound like you're enjoying yourself. Thanks for sharing your cheerful personality. Happy sewing!
Hi oona, thanks for your comment on my Kasia! I'm also veeeery happy that we have you back here. Happy sewing!!
Thanks for you comment on my 'Jacket-Potato'! I have to look for the negatives of my photos. I don't mind sending you a small photo for free if I find one in my files. Have a great day!
hi! thank´s for the comment on my idit. the main difficulty with the material was, that it makes ladderes like stockings when you stretch them at a non-serged seam. so trying it on and during the sewing process was quite a challenge :-)
you are so sweet, and very poetic as well! i made a cate out of another fabric first so that i would learn from it, but i began to run out of time and so it has found a home in my very own "area of death" ;) perhaps some day we will both finish our cates!
I can't believe you're a dancer too! what style do you do? I've been dreaming of a multiway top pattern that I could transform according to my mood/style of the day (I do hip hop and contemporary). I'm planning to work on it soon, your suggestions will be very useful if you're interested!
Haha, love your comment on my granny-dress ;) I think I will only shorten the sleeves and wear it to work, wait for the reactions there...... And if I'm still not happy with it , I will send it to you!
But now it seems to me Yuicat changed the pattern a bit... nevermind. I'm actually studying Finnish, so I wasn't scared by it; and that's all. :-)
Oona, the bamboo bag is on that Ottobre website Yuicat mentioned in credits, I already downloaded it. :-) Namely, it's here
