This is my bike - got it as a gift from my super friends Saskia and Benni. Every morning I can roll (!) down the hill to work. Biggest luxury ever! Before I cycle I eat Muesli from The Baker, best I found in New York. Oh, and there is one of the 'Slow Dancing' dancers from the Lincoln Center the other night. Beautiful.

Thanks for your comment about my dress. And yes, it would be so much fun creating a section about Men's clothes turned into Women's!!!!. ooh and btw, my next creation I'm gonna name it as you told me, in German.

Hi Nora,

Thanks for the great job you guys do at Burdastyle. I never felt much happier since I have joined the site, I feel attuned to my imagination and creative potentialities (even though I am a research art student, at this stage of studies it is difficult to be playfull, you have to justify everything, I only like to justify that I used the colour pink for my latest creation) Ok enough blabla,Just to tell you that I have been enjoying Jenny's blog lately (soft circuits and 'Hanker'tude). I love to hear about such initiatives when sewing get mixed with art, video, science (maybe philosophy, politics?)I am more than delighted to read that you will focus on posting more articles, on any subjects that could quench our curiosity I hope!. And if you need a blogger reporting from London...well I live there! :) All the best to you Helene

I write on your wall a lot - I used a couple of filters on photoshop to alter the images from my regular-style Canon digital camera. The "shadow/highlight" feature in Image->Adjustments gives the pictures an old-timey feel and then I just adjust the greens and blues to make it look old as well. :)
