    reconsidering summer sewing plans

Hi, Mellu. Thanks for your comment on my wall! I love your historical creations! It may not show in what I've posted here, but I adore fashion history, and love using historical details in modern day clothing. (by the way, is it the Natron und Soda - forum you and Paranoire are on? I just pointed a German Burdastyle member to that site to find pattern for long skirts ;)

Hi, Mellu, it's me again. I can't find "Hello KItty" fleece or cottons. Would you know of any on-line merchants that sell & ship to the US? Hope your holiday sewing is about done. (I should be half so industrious). 'Bye for now. cordially, Nehmah

Good evening Mellu, It's Nehmah. Thank you for the information. I'll look up the shops on-line. I suspect that in the next year or two, we'll see customers who want to match great-granny's steel and wear a boned corset for a Civil War (U.S. 1862-1865) re-enactment. The few busks I've seen here don't look as though they would be a quality product. I guess that the best source would be a business that specializes corsets.
I don't know if you are interested in the history of fashion, but there is a terrific website from Germany -www.marquise.de- name of site is- La Couturiere Parisienne- Alexa must have a treasurehouse of clothing. She certainly has a superb website. There are some of the old-style patterns from earlier centuries. With patience, the clothes can be made. It appears that you really enjoy the art of sewing. I hope you will have many interesting years ahead of you. Cordially, Nehmah
