Just your average acupuncturist who can't kick her sewing habit... My inspirations often outweigh my abilities to find fabrics I like, and for 2008 I'll be working on improving that, along with my pattern & clothing alteration skills, and moving away from the 'Big 4' in favor of Burda. Wish me luck!

LCAVAGNOLO's WALL (10)
Thanks for your sweet comment about my blouse.!
how i wish for someone to help with darts! actually, this fact keeps slipping my brain... my husband made, from scratch, a fully lined and buttoned vest, like 8 years ago. he ought to be able to wield a few pins...
thanks for the advice on my jumpsuit! i'm afraid to try the darts cause i'm not sure where to end them, might be over my skill set (pointy butt would suck).... but i am definitely going to try the pants crease.
These two places also sell Burda Mag., single issue. http://fashionistafabrics.com/buwooffa.html http://sewbaby.com/big/patterns16_/burda.html
Let me know if you want me to copy some pages of burda 9/2007 Eng., you might need cutting info. in Eng.
Hello, thanks for the comment on the dress. I used the pattern, McCalls M5466.
Thank you for your comment on my blouse, I am very peased with it but have heaps of extra fabric left over, no idea what to make out of it. Any ideas? By the way I love that white jacket you are very skilled.
wow, i am so flattered to be in your top 5! my desira & i thank you :) i'm so inspired by your jcrew jacket, i've always wanted to take some RTW and make it my own but haven't had the courage in my skills!
Hey, thanks for you comment on my wall. You are the first one to have come across the design sponge from our BurdaStyle members. We were pretty excited ourselves to see it on there..
Hi there, Sadly, I've not yet made the dress form:( although I have learned quite a bit these past few months— including how helpful a dress form will be! We are preparing to travel for a few months and then move, so it may be awhile yet… Thanks again for your advice— I'm looking forward to using it! Hope you're staying warm up in MI!
