salutations. I am an aspiring dressmaker. I have no formal instruction (which i think would benefit me exponentially-haha). anyway, i wish i had the opportunity to post more of my creations on here, but unfortunately i do not. i will try though! I am very inspired and i guess just down right obsessed with vintage clothing. i also am very passionate about second hand clothing...refashioning whatever i like into something i love. why buy new when you can have exactly what you want (i think anyways) and save money, recycle,get creative, etc in the process. I am going to continue practicing and improving my sewing skills every chance i can get..my dream project/goal is to do a coat(which i searched and successfully acquired a vintage star wars bed sheet for the lining.haha). And i told my boyfriend when i can finish a wedding dress (which i am far from beginning) we will get married :p. Furthermore, my future plans with my sewing obsession is to improve, and master the skill (w/ or w/ out schooling-practice makes perfect) and share my passion with all the curious in my community. There are no opportunities around here to learn such a trade and i intend (when the time is right for me) to share my passion with all. I live for this and want to spend the rest of my life doing it! well, enough about me.. haha i don't think i've ever been this vocal, i just felt compelled to share b/c i love this site and all the wonderful people involved and contributing! thank you, you all inspire me!
