on a quest for cheap fabric

Hi Kellimaier! Welcome to Burdastyle! I saw your comment on HandmadeLibrarian @ http://www.burdastyle.com/creations/show/4729: Teal Dress (shakira pattern). I think perhaps you were a bit confused as to what you were looking at. That dress is a creation-made by a member using a burdastyle pattern. She's not trying to promote anything. Burdastyle's pictures of a pattern/garment are the really nice ones that you see on the homepage. And their model fit the shakira dress quite nicely. Anyhow, this site can be a bit confusing at first, so I thought you might want to know! Once again, welcome!

    I've been crocheting lately...

Its not that we sew half a straight line and then curve it... "The whole trick is to sew a single, fluid curve, just like the natural curve of the bust." (step 5) - the lethal boob points come from the apex of the dart being pointy... so you want the transition from the fold to seam to be smooth. The straight/curve is just to help people guestimate - BUT trial and error to figure out what's best for your bust!
