Hello Juriko, I don't know if anyone has mentioned that BurdaFashion (click on burda mode at the bottom right of this page in the pink bar,to get there) has free patterns, in English. But if you look above the shopping cart icon you will find DE; click on the DE which brings up a German download page with much more free and low-cost patterns and instructions. They use Click N Pay for purchasing patterns. One nice feature; after you buy a pattern, for the next 24 hours you can download every size they make for the purchased pattern. The free ones can be downloaded anytime. I suspect you may already know about this, but you are so generous, I wanted to be sure you had this information, Cordially, Nehmah

Hello Juriko, Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese; I have learned to recognize certain symbols for patterns and instruction sheets. I've been a dressmaker for 40+ years, and since there are only so many ways to sew garments for the human body, I can follow the guide. My main experience with Japanese garment construction came from using Folkwear patterns for yukata, kimono. hippari, monpei, and kintaro for baby boys. The modern patterns which are nicely diagrammed have not been a problem. I hope you enjoy your time here. Cordially, Nehmah

I cannot thank you enouh for the zipperless baby skirt. Everything on the site is ADORABLE. I enjoy Japanese patterns since they are thorough and well based. I love all the Japanese crafting magazines - my favourite is Cotton Friend - it's a shame I cannot find it in my country:(
