1. Where are you from and/or where do you live? i was born in bromsgrove england in 1980. i then moved to an island in greece called skopelos, which is where they just filmed the movie mama mia. i then moved back to the uk and i now live in coventry. 2. What was the 1st thing you made? How did you start sewing? the first thing i made was probably a cushion. my great grandmother was a seamstress and my mother makes clothes and textiles. so i kind of followed them. 3. What role does sewing play in your life? sewing has a big role in my life i find its a getaway from everyday life and some time out from my children. 4. What is your favorite and what is your least favorite thing about sewing? i love designing the garment or accessory, choosing the fabric and buttons, ribbon or even hand sewing the beads. i love seeing the finished garment and knowing that its an original and that no other person will have that outfit. i suppose the worse thing about sewing is not always getting it right first time 5. If you could make something for anyone who would it be and what would you make? i think i would make a gorgeous eveng gown for maybe liv tyler for the red carpet 6. What are you looking for on our site? What do you think should be improved and what do you really like? im looking for mainly insparation, i love the way members can upload there own creations and patterns and so far i haven't found anything that i would change. 7. What is your motto? practice makes perfect or carpe dieum

Hi, I just had a look at your pattern for the cravat. I am quite an inexperienced sewer, so I don't really understand the pattern. If you would maybe explain it to me, that would be wonderful.

hi! i had seen on a forum post that you wrote on that you suggested the wildthings patterns and i was wondering if you had downloaded the software? it looks amazing, but almost too good to be true if it's free! if you know anything about it, could you fill me in? i'd appreciate it! thank you!

I was going to ask the black and white question, but you have already taken care of that. So, again thank you, from Nehmah PS did you ever get your two "missing" patterns downloaded? I hope so. Nehmah

Hello, I'm back again to thank you for the lovely baby trousseau (as it were). I especially like the scratch mittens. My two looked like they lost every fight with a cat, and we never even had a cat! Nehmah

Thanks so much for the cravat pattern! I needed the instructions to make one of these for an 18th century man's costume. What marvelous timing!
