In the past few years I have discovered that I love working with my hands, which has ultimately led me to art, crafting, and most importantly sewing! In 2006, I found my beautiful sewing machine in a thrift store and made a very impulsive buy. My grandmother, a former seamstress and interior decorator, had the machine repaired for me as a college graduation gift in 2007, and shortly thereafter I began my first adventures in sewing. I haven't made very many pieces, but so far everything has surpassed my greatest expectations. I can't wait to see where this will take me!
