Hey Ink! Really nice to hear from you! Oh yes would be nice to meet up for a cup of coffee.Maybe when you come to London to visit your friend But I won't drag too long and keep you away from your deadline I know that member Ceregana is an architect and she had been using architecture programs to make her cape dracula, I don't which one though! I may upgrade for a PHD next year, at moment I am doing the Mphil, a level before. What are you researching on? It is handy to have a carpenter as a husband and I hope you build your dreamhouse! On the continent you can recognize the guys from the carpenter guild when they are on their formation trips by the specific corduroy trousers they wear. I am in Rotterdam right now playing about with an optical printer (to reshoot, slow down, speed up footage). I love this city. I like London but it is too hectic and I often feel isolated there never in Rotterdam though, even when I spend too much time on my own, the whole day in the darkroom of the filmlab. London is very expensive but I am very lucky that I pay very little rent and my job is well paid for a part-time one. Do you like it in the States? When did you move from Canada? Would be nice to hear more from you when you are less busy. take care! XXHelene

I was happy to see your reply on my wall. You look so elegant in the picture, you look moved but not in a sad way so it couldn't be a burial. All in white weddings are a bit boring. I think you should dive into sewing soon!, having an architect background is already a plus. What kind of buildings do you design? The picture of my profile is the former school where I live. It is a kind of legal squatting formula which originated the Netherland. This company called Camelot takes care of empty buildings (either council or privatly owned) and find 'guardians' to live and look after the properties. I live in a chemistry class. The picture is one of the view from one of the corridors. I always feel happy when I walk around the school. This is my dream house after living 12 years in England but I don't how long we can stay, another year perhaps. I think you would love it too, this early 1970s building. A couple is living in this block which used to be the library(my profile picture). ANd!I am a part time librarian (the library of the Institute of psychoanalysis). I do research in the Printmaking and animation department at the Royal College of Art. I would love to concentrate on pattern making but there are so many things I have to concentrate, eg my thesis and art work (I focus more on 16 mm film these days as I have learnt how to hand process it) I would be happy to see your patterns to once you dip yourself into it. You may have the most perfect programs for this purpose at work. Gee, I wrote so much already. I hope you tell me more about yourself soon! X Helene

hello Ink! thank you for your comments! If I had a magic wand I would make a wearable jacket potato for you!Yeah show me the money! eh eh :) I will try to work on the pattern. I just try it to make it easy to download, to sew, make instructions etc.. It is easier to draft circles, hyperboles, ovals -you name it- with french curves. You can buy very cheap ones. I am looking forward to seeing your creations! I like your profile picture a lot, I don't mean to be distastful (was it taken during a funeral, if so please forgive me) but it almost looks like a still from a Soprano episode, with two FBI agents in the background. I am a fan of the Sopranos, you see. All the best to you! Helene
