ABOUT GLITTERY_GIRL
I began sewing as a child and spent my time making dolls clothes. I come from a line of talented seamstresses be it tailors or stage costume designers so my sister and I were always surrounded by things our Nanna's and Aunts had sewn or made be it for ourselves, our dolls or their own clothing. As I grew older I started sewing for myself and wanted to do costume design. I liked to think (with a grain of salt) that I'd inherited some of my grandmothers talent albeit somewhat watered down. Not studying graphics in school ended that dream for the time being though and by the time I'd completed my science degree I was sewing less and less, perhaps making one-two things a year. Space constraints and other hobbies meant that sewing took a back seat. It all changed when I moved into my home last year, I now have a sewing room and when I'm not wasting time on the computer or pottering in the garden, I'm back at the machine and having a ball!
